Integrated Writing： 

第一套：

讨论金字塔shaft的目的。阅读文章要点：

1.bring fresh air，也就是通风；

2.used with  stars for religious reasons，和星星有关，对准天上的星星，星星在古埃及对应特定的神；

3.for king’s spirit to pass through, 是法老去往来生的通道。

听力逐一反驳：

1.金字塔上面的两个shaft的确是通风的，但是下面还有两个shaft, 根本没有通风口，在墙里面；

2.埃及金字塔建造的时候还没有这样的理论，这样的理论是在建造完之后出现的；

3.在其他金字塔中，门都是象征性的，都是关着的，说明埃及人认为灵魂是可以穿墙的，所以这里的shaft根本没有必要挖出实际的通道。

第二套：

讨论了decline of northern native cats population的原因是否合理。阅读文章要点：

1.cats会吃蟾蜍cane toads。蟾蜍有毒，所以cats数量下降；

2.cats被狗的陷阱吸引去，吃了里面有毒的肉bait，所以数量下降；

森林大火wildfire把植被烧死了，也烧死了cats吃的昆虫，所以它们饿死了。

听力逐一反驳：

1.研究表明蟾蜍数量上升，如果cats吃了蟾蜍，蟾蜍数量会下降，cats应该是学会了如何分辨蟾蜍和青蛙所以不会吃它们；

2.把肉和毒药放在一起让cats吃，发现它们消化了meat；

3.cats可以通过吃别的食物比如青蛙来代替，而且森林大火可以烧掉这些小动物藏身的地方，让cats更容易发现其他小动物。
