The public facility that I want to talk about is the Yu Yuan Tan park which is located next to the western 3^rd ring road opposite to the CCTV tower. In fact, it is within walking distance to my home and that’s why I usually go there at night after I finish dinner for relaxation. The park is actually quite big.

There are lots of trees and flowers. To be honest, they smell incredible and that’s one of the main reasons why people really love coming here. Walking pass those trees, there is a huge artificial lake located in the center of the park with lots of small boats on top of the water. Actually, they are available for renting so that people can enjoy a relaxing afternoon on top of the water during hot summer. The last thing in this park is a public square located on the right-hand side of the lake. It used to be a wonderful place for young kids to play roller skates and badminton.

But now, it is occupied by many middle-aged women for playing square dance. I have to be honest, they can be quite loud sometimes but I am still glad that they can find something to help them to kill time. Ever since I was born this park was a popular place for people to hang out. I remembered that I spend a lot of time with my friends there playing soccer or riding boats when I was a kid. In fact, no matter what age you are you can find yourself a place in this park as it washes all of your pressure away. So that’s the reason why I believe this park improves local life quality.
