口语考试，词汇部分也是一个考官关注的评分项。不同题目，能够想出恰当的词汇表达，这个是基本要求。对于想考高分的学生，能够灵活使用同义替换表达一个意思，会是很好的加分点。下面，我们针对不同基础的学生，给出不同的方式来练习词汇内容。
雅思口语考试，分为很多话题，对于基础非常薄弱的学生，如3分左右，part 1部分，也难以张口回答。这主要是因为欠缺太多的口语词汇和素材。所以，重点任务是要帮助学生快速吸收雅思口语常考话题相关的基础素材。1. What kind of song or music do you like？2. Which song is the representation of the kind of music?3. What kinds of music are popular with young people in your culture?4. Why do you like music?5. Are there any side effects of music?

Listening to rock music makes me feel energetic.Listening to rock music can adjust the mood.积累相关词汇，模板句子之后，学生就有了一定的口语素材，再面对有关音乐的口语问题，就会胸有成竹了。比如回答以下问题：1. Do you like rock music? Why?中文答案：我喜欢摇滚音乐,因为听摇滚音乐让我感到充满活力。`Yes，I am into music, especially the rock music. Listening to rock music makes me feel energetic.基础较好的学生，想要寻求更高分的目标，在词汇这块，我们要重点学习同义替换的能力:比如，part1中有些问题常常会考到喜好类的话题。What’s your favorite color?Is there anything you don’t like about your hometown?I am passionate about flowersI am not fond of/passionate about…Sample: What kinds of sport do you like?Actually, I am keen on all kinds of sports. To be more precise, playing basketball is myfavorite one. The most important reason is that I am a huge fan of Yao Ming.
