Describe a person who has interesting ideas or opinions You should say: Who thisperson is What thisperson does How you know him Andexplain why you think his/her ideas andopinions are interesting

When dochildren begin to have their own ideas?

Actually,I’m not sure, but I guess it’s when they enter school. Before they enterschool, parents are their first teachers and they usuallybelieve what their parents believe. But when they become students and start to havelessons and make friends, they are exposed to different opinions, so maybe it’ssince then that they start to think more independently.

Why arethere more and more differences between children and their parents?

As I just mentioned, as children grow up, they have access to more things, which maybe totally different from what their parents saw and did since the societykeeps developing, and the children may move to different places, so they becomemore and more different, including their value, habit and lifestyle.

What are the advantages and disadvantage of setting rules forchildren?

There are many benefits of it, forexample, rules can make it easier for them to do a lot of things and preventthem from making mistakes, so they are more likely to have a sense ofachievement and feel more motivated and more interested in doing many things.Besides, some rules are necessary for them to have some normal sense and makesure that they can behave themselves in the society, like they need to learntable manners and they should always follow traffic rules. However, I have tosay, there are also some shortcomings. If parents set too manyrules for their kids, their kids maynot be able to think critically and independently, instead, they would tend to relyon other people’s advice when they make decisionsrather than figure out what they really need. If so, they wouldn’t be competitiveor live a happy life when they enter the society.

Is there someone with good ideas that has changed many people’slives?

Definitely,we modern peoplelive a different life from our ancestorsthanksto many great men. With their innovations and revolutions, we now can enjoy ourlife better. For example, hybrid rice created by Yuan Longping, which has ahigh yield, saved many people from famine and now, even China has a largepopulation to support, we don’t have to worry about food. Also, digital money calledAlipay as well as on-line shopping application called Taobao, which is launchedby Ma Yun, has brought us a lot of convenience and made our life much easier.
