　　爷爷去世地早，爷爷走后奶奶在没有出过远门。大概两个月前我奶奶生日，我爸爸决定带奶奶去云南大 理，一座浪漫的南方小城，也是爷爷和奶奶当年相遇的地方，奶奶路上一直讲述当年她和爷爷的趣事。这 次旅行，也释放了我自己失恋的压力，我也更懂得了如何去对待一份感情。

　　It was my grandma’s birthday last month, and my family planned a big event for her. My two aunts’ families and my own family all went up to(前往) my grandma’s house and we invited a cook to make a feast for us. During the meal, my grandma suddenly mentioned that she really missed my grandpa, who passed away(去世) almost thirty years ago. My grandma was only in her 40’s when her husband died of cancer. She used to travel with him a lot. They had gone to almost half the provinces in the country. Since my grandpa was gone(去世), my grandma never left my hometown again. My father instantly (立即) decided to take her on a car trip to Dali, a small southern town in Yunnan province. My grandparents met there, so the place meant a great deal(意义重大) to my grandma.

       During the journey, she told many stories of her travels with my grandpa. I could feel the love in her eyes while she was recalling those memories. It was through those stories, I started to understand what true love means. It was loyalty, mutual understanding, and mutual support between two hearts. Well, to be honest, I was experiencing a dark moment of my life- my boyfriend cheated on me and I thought that was the end of the world. Well, we were together for many years and I believed that it was true love. So when I found out what was going on, I’m not exaggerating(或不夸张), I was devastated. My grandma’s talking helped me review that past　relationship. Going on that trip with her literally became a healing experience for me. So I thought that it was a really special trip.
