金钱的话题比较具有实用性，刚好”支付宝“（Ali pay)的大热就可以应对这个金钱话题。2018年春季的一道part2 话题”省钱的经历“被挪到part3来做扩展，考生记得举例子去扩展自己的信息内容，最好加入故事情节，比如省钱是为了给妈妈买一个gift，买一个项链，表达自己的祝福之类的。

这边给大家扩展 credit card：make it easier to buy things and young people don't need to carry large amounts of cash with them. Besides, some credit cards offer additional benefits, such as discounts from particular stores or shopping malls.

When you go shopping do you prefer to pay for things in cash or by card?

I don’t like to pay for things in cash nor by card. There’s an app in China called Alipay. It’s something similar to applypay but with a lot more functions. You can use it to pay utility bills, called cabs, buy insurances and a lot more. I used to forget to bring my wallet around when I head out, and this app pretty much sorted my life out, as all I need is my mobile which I carried around with me all the time.

这道作为描述类型的话题，学生在选择话题素材的时候要注意，着力点在“interesting”，比如讨论一个演讲话题，一个物理课试验。这道题在口语话题里算比较难的话题，但是学生可以从和合作伙伴的交流这个层面进行切入，有趣的点可以是伙伴们直接讨论话题时的一些幽默的点。

The most interesting discussion I ever had is about my dissertation with one of my mate who studied biology. My study was on how vocal attractiveness influences the facial attractiveness judge by opposite sex raters. We had this random chat one night about my discussion while we’re having dinner. I told him about the hypotheses about my study and he gave me loads of information that I was totally unexpected. He suggested to me that my study may have something related to evolution as our facial appearances and vocal cues act as indicators to our genetics quality. The discussion was enjoyable cause his comments and suggestions inspired me to research on the areas that I never thought about, and I got a really good result on my dissertation based on his ideas.

分析：交流的话题通常比较好回答，和朋友交流话题而不是自己思考话题的好处最重要的一点一定是share experience，共同成长，学习cooperation。

这个话题学生们可以各自发挥，这里推荐“patience”，“respect others’ opinions”这样的回答会比较好。

Why is it good to discuss problems with other people?

I guess the answer is pretty straight forward. It’s good because you can get opinions from others. It is sometimes difficult for us to think things through on ourselves as I think unconsciously we already made up our mind and decided what we would like to do. Taking one of my shopping experience as an example, I already decided I want to buy the blue shirt, and I asked my friend her advice on whether it suits me or not, and she gave me a straight no in the face. Her response made me reconsider whether it suits me or not, so I went back to the changing room and tried it on again, and finally agree on what she said. I was glad I asked her opinion otherwise I will just impulsively buy a shirt that doesn’t even suit me.

What do you think will be the future impact of technology on communication in the workplace?

I think the most serious impact will be that you don’t know who you’re even working with. The reason for me to say this is because of my personal experience. I used to work in a company with around 2000 people. I was a supervisor in which my position required me to communicate with loads of people in different departments. In that company, we always communicate using an app called QQ, which is something really popular in china. Resulting that I’ve never seen the person I spent hours talking to physically. I think this will become a phenomenon to all size of companies since communicating through technology save so much time and effort.
